One thing kids always want to do on vacation but parents never want to pay for are those carnival games where you can win prizes. We all know that if you’re at an amusement park or pier, the odds of your kids actually winning a good prize are slim to none. But, the games are all yours when you’re at home! Get some great prizes for your kids, and turn your backyard sports park into a carnival. You can even get a bucket full of water to dump over your kids, just like the bucket at the kiddie water area.

Make your backyard really feel like a water park with a slip ‘n slide or inflatable water slide. Maybe even get some ice cream and popsicles if it’s a hot summer’s day. If you typically go on a vacation with extended family, you’re probably used to a big family barbeque. But, you can bring that home, too! Invite the neighbors or some friends if you would like, or just finish the staycation off as a family. Either way, you’re sure to have a lot of fun and memories to share.
